Q: Do I have to be an Auburn University Student to use the facility?
A:Martin Aquatics Center is open to the public. You do not need to be affiliated with Auburn University in order to use the facility. Please visit our membership page for information regarding membership rates and guest fee options.
Q: How do I apply for a Lifeguard position?
A:All potential lifeguards must have current American Red Cross or equivalent certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED. Those interested can submit an application or resume to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it off in person at the Aquatics Center Office.
Q: Are youth swim lessons offered at James E.
Martin Aquatics Center?
A: Yes. Swim lesson are offered through Auburn Aquatics at our facility. Group lessons are offered for all ages. Limited space is available for year round lessons. For more information regarding swim lessons or to register for classes visit Tiger Swim Lessons.

Q: Is there a certification program offered
A: Lifeguard Training classes are held through the Office of Professional and Continuing Education and open to everyone. Lifeguard Training will be offered in the Spring of 2017. For more information and to register please visit the OPCE schedule website. The American Red Cross lists other lifeguarding classes being held in the area.
Q: Do you offer any Water Aerobics Classes?
A: Water Aerobics courses are offered at this facility through the Office of Professional and Continuing Education. Classes meet weekday mornings from 7:45am-8:45am. For more information or to sign up for a class please contact the Office of Professional and Continuing Education at (334)844-5100.
