The Aquatics Center will be closed Friday, March 7 after 1pm and all day Saturday and Sunday, March 8 and 9 due to a Swim Meet.
The week of Spring Break, March 10-14, 2014, the Aquatics Center will close at 8:00pm each night. Morning, Lunch and Weekend Open Swim schedules will remain the same for the week.

Interested in a job as a Life Guard?
All potential lifeguards must have current American Red Cross or equivalent certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED. Those interested can submit an application or resume to email@example.com or drop it off in person at the Aquatics Center Office.

Q: Are swim lessons offered by the James E.
Martin Aquatics Center?
A: Yes. They are sponsored by the Auburn University Athletics Swimming and Diving program. John Asmuth directs the swim lesson program that is open to all ages.
Session A: May 13-24, 2013; Classes 3:00pm-7:00pm (Adult class 7-7:45pm)
Session B: May 27-June 7, 2013; Classes 9:00am-11:00am
Session C: June 10-21, 2013; Classes 9:00am-11:00am
Registration for all sessions will be Saturday, April 6 from 8:00am - 11:00am at Martin Aquatics Center. All classes are filled on a first come first serve basis.

Q: Is there a certification program offered
A: The Department of Kineisiology is offering a Lifegaurd Training Course in the Spring of 2014. The course is PHED 1740 and it is open to Auburn University students only.
Lifeguard Training classes are also held through the Office of Professional and Continuing Education and open to everyone. Classes are usually scheduled for March and April. For more information and to register please visit the OPCE schedule website. The American Red Cross of Lee County may know of other lifeguarding classes being held in the area.
Q: Do you offer any Water Aerobics Classes?
