ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

Martin Aquatics Center will reopen for lap swimming on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11:00am

Hours for Tuesday, July 7 will be 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-7:45pm. Hours begining Wednesday, July 8 can be found on the daily schedule.

 

We will be implementing the following policies when we reopen:

  • Mask or face covering required at all times in the building except for when in water
  • Lap Swimming Only – 1 per lane – no exceptions
  • Children must be able to swim unaccompanied in a lane by themselves in order to use facility
  • No organized group activities
  • First come/First serve for all lanes. If all lanes are full you may wait for open lane on bleachers 6ft apart
  • Locker Rooms are available for restooms and changing only. No showers or lockers available.

2012 NCAA Women's Championships

 

James E. Martin Aquatics Center is located between Beard-Eaves Coliseum and the Student Activities Center. It houses an Olympic-size pool with three moveable bulkheads which allow for variable distance competition and simultaneous diving as well as an instructional pool used for various classes.  The facility is open daily to the public for use.

Draped with banners honoring the eight-time Men’s NCAA Champions, five-time Women’s NCAA Champions and 23 SEC titles, the James E. Martin Aquatics Center has been home to the Auburn swimming and diving team since it opened in 1993. Chosen to host some of the top competitions in the sport of swimming, the Aquatics Center is designed as one of the premier natatoriums in the nation, and provides Auburn and its athletes with the perfect facility for training and competition.
